Busy Monday!! ~ September 16th

Monday was a busy day but did make it out to shoot.  The weather was beautiful and I just couldn't resist going out.

I am still looking for some images for my Calgary calendar.  I decided to have one page dedicated to Calgary Transit and above are 3 I am thinking of using.

I still have a thing for reflections and DT Calgary is the place to find them.

I stumbled across the McDougal School which was 1907.  It was a beautiful spot and fun to shoot.

Prince's Island park was a buzz at lunchtime with walks, runner, and bikers everywhere.  It won't be long before everything will be golden yellow down here.

Just an interesting spot that I came across.  Might have to go back here to see what else I can come up with.

Thursday Evening Shoot ~ September 12

Thursday evening, I had the privileged of photographing a beautiful family who I have known for quite a while now.

They have a new member of their family .. interesting busy little fellow!!  I hope to be able to photograph him again some time soon.

His name is Nucky and he is a sweet but curious boy.  But he sure made this photoshoot alot of fun!!

I promise myself to always try to Capture Those Moments in Time, which is why I think this has to be my favourite out of evening shoot.

Thank you Elizabeth and Craig for letting me photograph your Beautiful Family!!

Photo Shoot!! ~ September 8th

Took a bit of a break from shooting the last couple of days.  But arranged a small shoot and I do believe it was very successful.

I was needing a male model today and Curtis was perfect.  I think he did an excellent job!!

Mother Nature didn't let me down!!  What a dramatic sky!!  Did use just a little bit of flash here.

Thank You Curtis and Sherry, very much appreciate you both coming out.

Home Again!! ~ September 4th

Home Again!!  But not yet ready for reality as of yet.  Left Camrose about 10 this morning and took the  back roads home to Drumheller and than back into Calgary.

There are some really great old buildings along the way.  I will try and post the route that was taken in the next few day, have to find the map first, haha

Just a few images from the travel home.

Just outside of Camrose.  Awesome looking old barn!!  Love the Red!!

Far end of Drumheller Valley where the ferry is.

On the Suspension Bridge.

Horseshoe Canyon

I have many more photos to edit up and share with all of you.  Promise to post as I get them done.

Camrose ~ September 3rd

Spent Tuesday in Camrose Alberta where my mother grow up.  I have been there a few times, but still an interesting little place.

Went out to a little teeny weeny town of Edberg, Alberta, where my grandmother, her parents and siblings grow up.

There isn't much left there but there are some neat old buildings and some old homes as well as some new homes too.

Uncle Adam Butowski (sp) Shop.

Do you need an old General Store?

I missed the sun set this evening however the sky after sun set was beautiful and decided I needed a few photos.

On Our Way Again!! ~ September 1st

On our way again, today.  The week at the cabin was much to short but spirits are renewed again and looking forward to the rest of the holiday.

Before leaving today however, I found a patch of mushrooms that I missed earlier and decided that they needed their photo taken too!!

There was some great old buildings along the way today, some I did get a chance to photograph.  This great old barn was at Landis.  Notice the stone base on this barn, not something you see much on the prairies.

The evening is beautiful here in Unity and was able to get a few shots of the sun set before the sun disappeared completely.

Its been a train themed holiday can you tell!!

Big new grain elevators or terminals all across the prairies, not much for character but the fields and the beautiful make them look a little better!!
