Project 52 ~ Week 4 ~ Faceless Portrait

This took a little while to come up with an idea and how I wanted to do this weeks theme.  But I really like a couple of the shots I come up with.

I thought I would try and reflect a little bit of myself in these images.  Not sure if it worked or not but I had fun!!

Throw Back Thursday ~ January 30

This was taken at the Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta in June of 2006.  It was take with a Canon 300 .. Handheld, would you believe. I love the purple shadow and the interesting light.

Project 52 - Week 3 - Food

Project 52 is rather more of challenge than I thought but worth doing.  I set up my mini studio again to play a little.  And thought that I would photograph a couple of eggs ... mostly because they can create some great little shadows.

Cookie Cake!!

Throw Back Thursday!! ~ January 23

Throw Back Thursday!! Taken at work on December 4, 2006. I was using my Canon 300 before they started calling this type of Camera a Rebel.

Green Gables

One of the places I have wanted to go to for just about forever was Green Gables.  That perfect little spot on a perfect little island of Prince Edward, Canada.  Well, I went last October and it was awesome!!

"The landscape of Prince Edward Island set Lucy Maud Montgomery's imagination on fire.  Green Gables, once the home of her cousin's, is furnished and decorated based on descriptions of her novel, Anne of Green Gables.  Nearby is Montgomery's childhood home - her grandparent's farm - and at New London, her lovingly preserved birthplace.  At Park Corner, visitors can enjoy one of her favourite places - Silver Bush, the home of her Campbell cousins." - Deirdre Kessler

Images from inside of the Green Gables House.  Really neat and very interesting to see.

Views of the fields around Green Gables from the fence line at the edge of the front yard.

Cavendish Beach and yes the rocks are really that red!!

I really hope to go back one day soon and explore Green Gables more.  Time was short and did not get a good chance to see as everything!!

It was truly an adventure!!!

Project 52 - Week 2 - Colorful

This weeks themed challenge is Colorful.  Which I find rather hard in the grey/winter/brown winter season!!  So must be creative and think outside the box. So here we go!!

First Colorful Idea came to me while making Wild Rice and Turkey soup and spotted the colours in the soup and thought "Hey, that would work!!"

Project 52 - Week 1 - 52 steps from my Front Door

The first week of Project 52 was 52 Steps from my Front Door.  So that does limit you a bit but it was interesting to see what I could find :)

So 52 steps from my Front door took me to the fence line between my house and the neighbours.

Looking forward to the challenge and all the different themes that I am found to do.
