FAMILY: ACTINIDIACEAE

Really thought this was neat and had to make a trip back to the Hotel to take a couple of shots of Kiwi Vines!

Also know as Chinese Gooseberry, this deciduous twining vine has received considerable attention in recent years for fruit production, and as a suitable vine for fences, trellis and arbours within the landscape.

All theses plants are male, which results in no fruit production. Due to the vigorous and invasive nature of this plant's root system, the roots have been placed in large woven “bags” to control the spread.

I thought maybe you all need a bit of a horticultural lesson for today, LoL 😉
